Our inspection is also important because it helps us determine how large and widespread the infestation has become, allowing us to perform the treatment in the most effective way possible.
Treatment
On the day of your treatment, you’ll need to vacate your home for at least six hours. This time frame allows us the time necessary to apply the treatment, as well as providing the time required for the treatment to dry completely before you return to your house.
We’ll begin by removing the electrical plate covers throughout your house. A dust treatment will be brushed into the wall voids to eliminate the bed bugs within your walls. Since bed bugs often try to hide within the walls when they sense danger, this treatment is important in the full eradication of the infestation.
We’ll then apply a treatment under all baseboards and along the floor and walls of every room. In the bedrooms, we’ll treat all bed frames, mattresses, and box springs. We’ll also treat the furniture in each room. If you put your clothing and linens into clothing bags, we’ll add a pest strip to each bag to eliminate bed bugs inside the bags.
Warranty
Follow-up visits are rarely necessary after our bed bug treatments. However, we do provide a warranty for your peace of mind. Our treatments take about two weeks to eliminate your bed bug infestation entirely. After two weeks, if you still see bed bug activity, we will return to your home to re-treat it at no additional cost to you.
